Description
Time: Thursday, October 29, 2026. Note: Martindale has three different nights. Purchase the ticket for the night you wish to attend, as we need to make sure we have enough seating available.
When: Doors open at 5:30 PM, Presentation starts at 6:30 PM, and wraps up around 8:30 PM
Where: Martindale, PA, at the Martindale Fire Hall. 542 Gristmill Rd, Ephrata, PA 17522
Matt Snader will show videos from Alaska, plus highlights from the Fire Pro fire extinguisher safety testing! The safety testing is anything but boring; it will feature cars being launched over a cliff, crashing about 100 feet into the ground below. Some of the cars might even start on fire.
Matt will also show a video of his moose hunt in Alaska. He was out trophy moose hunting (in his backyard), but a non-trophy bull showed up, so he quickly put it out of its misery with his Henry lever action 45-70 (this is the same account as seen in the October issue of Alaska Adventures and Beyond). The other videos shown will vary, but he will probably also show his behind the scenes fishing trip with Amos Raber in Prince William Sound. We will end the evening showing Amos Raber’s music video, which was filmed on my boat in Prince William Sound, “Do I have to Ask ya-Don’t you want to come to Alaska!”
Ticket prices are as follow: Adults $15, Children (15 and under) $8, 3 and under are free.
A family pass is available for $50 (includes everyone currently living in your house, under normal circumstances). If the whole neighborhood moved in yesterday, well, sorry, that doesn’t count. Temporary residents don’t count either. And if you have more than a dozen children living in your house (and you are bringing them all), then you need to buy two family passes.
